Our Mission
The Essex Community Fund, Inc. is organized for the purpose of soliciting and collecting monies through the medium of an annual drive for contributions. The monies collected will be used for the benefit of organizations, both local and national, as may be decided upon from time to time by the Board of Governors. The mission is to assist organizations that are providing services to the villages of Essex, Centerbrook and Ivoryton.
The Board of Governors
The board is made up of volunteers who live in the community. No compensation is paid and expenses are for the direct solicitation to raise and distribute funds resulting in more than 96% of the funds going directly to the community organizations..
